Communication: acts as the main channel through which CA&P and CC&E communicate to the OEY community through our website, newsletter, and email list.

Community Action & Preservation (CA&P): maintains relationships with Springettsbury Township authorities and others within the greater York community to address issues such as the protection and preservation of OEY and its quality of life. The team also records, preserves, and interprets OEY’s heritage.

Community Care & Events (CC&E): develops and implements neighborhood-based activities and events to promote friendship, build community, and enhance the quality of life of OEY residents.

Communication and Community Care & Events will not knowingly organize or advertise any social event, activity, program, and so forth that involves fundraising or the advancement and/or promotion of a business activity or concern. OEY residents involved in a not-for-profit fundraising activity can contact us and advertise their fundraiser at no cost in our website's Classifieds section. Local businesses are urged to contact us regarding newsletter advertising. Community Action & Preservation may, from time to time, organize a fundraising activity to help discharge expenses incurred during the Rutters campaign.
